Handmade in Japan by ceramic artist Haruko Harada (原田晴子).
A charming miniature ceramic pitcher decorated with Harada’s playful hand-painted cherry motifs and a tiny sculpted bird perched above the handle.
The soft green-grey glaze creates a beautifully understated background for the colourful pink, yellow, blue and green details. Look underneath and you’ll find another tiny cherry motif hidden on the base — one of those delightful details that makes the piece special from every angle.
With a capacity of approximately 50ml, this petite pitcher is ideal for serving milk, cream, syrup, dressing or sauce. It is also lovely simply displayed as a small piece of ceramic art.
Each piece is individually handmade and decorated, so subtle variations in shape, glaze and painted details are part of its unique character.
