A richly decorated porcelain plate by Rinkuro Kiln, inspired by the elaborate decorative style of Japan’s Genroku period.
The scalloped plate is arranged in radiating sections of red, green and indigo, combining fine geometric patterns with delicate gold detailing. Three raised, cloud-shaped motifs add dimension to the surface, while the restrained blue-and-white centre creates a beautiful contrast with the richly patterned border.
At 19cm, it is a versatile size for light meals, desserts, appetisers or serving, while its intricate decoration also makes it a striking piece for the table.
